Photographs of 'cultural landscapes'. Namely, Pa (fortified) sites and places of early Maori settlement within Auckland (Tamaki makaurau). I have simulated palisades on two Pa sites, Anawhata and Te Henga (Bethells Beach). All these sites are unique in how they photograph.
